Catharsis The Bird Lady came to me in my dreams again. I was lucid, drifting between the planes of enigmatic dreams and sardonic reality.  Somehow I knew she was there, yet she would disappear out of my mind's eye, as if telling me to etch her into a concrete state lest I lose her. Today, I tapped my pencil against my head and sighed as I had been for the past five afternoons. The blank drawing paper before me lay untouched.
